With the slogan “A fair and sustainable future”, the host country, Argentina hopes that this would be an opportunity to search solution for world concerns, aiming at reaching a final document focused on fair and sustainable development.
In the 2-day event, leaders will focus on issues including trade, climate change, employment, and development infrastructure and will work to build consensus based on the agreements reached at 80 meetings since early this year.

On the sidelines of the G20 summit, BRICS group of leading emerging economies including Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, condemned protectionism. They pledged to enhance cooperation with African countries in implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and jointly safeguard the interests of emerging economies and developing countries.
