Gabon President rejects foreign intervention
(VOVworld) – Gabon President Ali Bongo on Sunday announced that Gabon was not seeking for help to solve the post-election crisis, and claimed that any external intervention would not be accepted.

Previously, Gabon's Constitutional Court on Saturday officially approved of the results for the election in August. Accordingly, President Ali Bongo was re-elected for the third consecutive time with 50.66% of the votes, while his main challenger Jean Ping received 47.24% of the votes.
