GFANZ wants to cooperate with Vietnam in energy transition

(VOVWORLD) - In Hanoi on Thursday, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha received Alice Carr, Executive Director, Public Policy and JETPs, Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ). Mr. Ha said Vietnam has thoroughly selected practical, effective projects and wants to work closely with the governments and GFANZ to achieve its goal of net zero emission, and implement the Just Energy Transition Partnership.

The Deputy Prime Minister asked GFANZ to share their experience in developing renewable energy and enhance cooperation with Vietnam.

Alice Carr said GFANZ wants to cooperate with Vietnam in energy transition and will list priorities based on unique advantages such as smart grid development, offshore wind power, and production, transportation, storage, and use of new materials. She said GFANZ will provide financial packages for technology innovation and fossil energy transition.
