Government leaders donate at least one day's salary to help people affected by storms, floods

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, other leaders of the Government, the Government Party Committee, and staff of the Government Office and the agencies assisting the Government Party Committee observed a minute of silence in remembrance of the victims who died in the floods.

At the fund raising ceremony, Prime Minister Chinh emphasized that the pain and loss caused by storms and floods are enormous and it takes a lot of resources and time to recover, to bring production, business and people's lives back to normal.
He requested early completion of a draft resolution for signing and promulgation on tasks and solutions to urgently overcome the consequences of natural disasters, quickly stabilize people's lives, and boost the recovery of production and business.
