(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has issued Decision No. 2241 approving a second round of emergency financial support for Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son, and Bac Ninh province to address the aftermath of recent floods.

A total of more than 16 million USD of the 2025 central budget contingency fund will be allocated to help the four localities recover from the recent disaster and stabilize people’s lives post- disasters. Specifically, Thai Nguyen will receive 10.2 million USD, while Cao Bang, Lang Son, and Bac Ninh will each receive 2.04 million USD.
The Prime Minister asked the provincial People’s Committees of these four localities to manage and use the funds in accordance with state budget regulations and related laws, ensuring that the funds are used properly, transparently, and effectively, without any losses or misuse.
The provinces are also required to report on the use of the funds to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and other relevant agencies for consolidation and submission to the Prime Minister.
