(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the start of the construction of the President Ho Chi Minh Monument in K9-Da Chong historical site in Ba Vi, Hanoi on Monday.


Phuc underlined the importance of the project to expand the relic site and promote its political, historical, and cultural value. He urged the construction company to ensure quality and progress of the project to have the monument ready for the 125^th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh on May 19, 2015.
The K9-Da Chong historical site was the place where President Ho Chi Minh worked with top officials and received foreign visitors during the resistance war against the US. President Ho Chi Minh’s remains were safely preserved here during the war following his death.
