(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked leaders of the northern province of Ha Giang to effectively exploit potential advantages for development, reduce poverty, and ensure national unity, political security, and social order.

Mr. Phuc made a working visit to Ha Giang on Wednesday to check the implementation of local socio-economic development, defense, security and Party building work. He asked the province to replicate models of planting herbal medicine, tea, and oranges, and promote the cultural identities of ethnic minority groups. In addition, the province has to apply more practical policies to improve the quality of local officials.
