Hamas reaches agreement on delayed release of Palestinian prisoners
(VOVWORLD) - On Tuesday, Hamas announced that it had reached an agreement to address the delay in releasing Palestinian prisoners who were scheduled for release in the latest exchange round.

According to the statement, the prisoner release will coincide with the return of the bodies of Israeli hostages, as agreed in the initial phase of the Gaza ceasefire.
A high-level Hamas delegation recently concluded a visit to Cairo, where discussions with Egyptian officials focused on implementing the ceasefire agreement, prisoner exchanges, and preparations for a second phase of negotiations.
