HANIFF honors cinematic works of high artistic value

(VOVWORLD) -The sixth Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF VI) opened on Tuesday evening, featuring 123 films from 56 nations and territories.
With the theme "Cinema - Humanity, Adaptation and Development", the festival, jointly held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hanoi People’s Committee, aims to honor excellent international and Vietnamese cinematographic works with high artistic value, imbued with humanity and creativity in cinematic language. 

The event attracted the attention of the capital city's audience and international delegates, promoting the image of Hanoi and a beautiful, hospitable, and richly traditional country of Vietnam.

The biennial Hanoi International Film Festival was first organized in 2010, as part of the activities to celebrate the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
