(VOVWORLD) - An exhibition on agriculture and the environment will be held from August 28 to September 5 at the Vietnam Exposition Center in Dong Anh commune, Hanoi.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Phung Duc Tien said the event is themed “80 years of agricultural and environmental development for national prosperity and a sustainable future.”
“Featuring achievements especially during 40 years of renewal, the exhibition demonstrates the Party's key mechanisms, policies,orientations, as well as the laws on agriculture and environment. It also highlights the sector’s growth in line with the Party’s affirmation that agriculture is the pillar of the economy and a key national advantage,” Mr. Tien said.

The display’s four parts are the sector’s formation and development (1945-1986); renewal and integration (1986-2025); environmental protection, natural resources, and forestry; and international exchanges and the vision ofa green future.
At the same venue, there will be an exhibition of handicrafts and “One Commune One Product (OCOP)” goods, themed “The essence of Vietnamese handicrafts in the digital age and green economy”.
