(VOVWORLD) - Hanoi will host the first Cultures of the World Festival, the most prominent international cultural diplomacy in Vietnam this year, from Friday to Sunday with representatives from 48 countries to take part in.

Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Director of the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the event will feature cultural identities from all five continents through a range of activities, such as national cultural spaces, art performances, fashion shows, and culinary experiences.
With the theme “Culture as the foundation – Art as the medium,” the Hanoi Cultures of the World Festival is targeted to become an annual international event, highlighting and showcasing Vietnam’s dynamic role in global cultural exchange.
