One of Hanoi’s main international cooperation targets is promoting e-government, digital transformation, and building a smart city, said Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Information and Communication Nguyen Viet Hung.

"We are aware that it is very important to build an e-government and a smart city and carry out the digital transformation. International cooperation is very important, especially with countries like France, which has a very modern urban structure and information and telecommunications infrastructure," said Mr. Hung.

"Many French companies are strong in telecommunications, smart traffic support systems, and smart urban management. At this conference we would like to discuss cooperation plans in these fields with the delegates from France," Mr Hung added.
