(VOVworld) - Australia’s New South Wales Department of Education and Communities, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, and EMG Education have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on expanding their cooperation.
The MoU, signed on Tuesday, was one of the specific agreements reached during the recent visit to Australia by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, which aims to deepen bilateral relations in education and training.
As stipulated in the agreement, New South Wales will bring vocational training programs to HCM City’s colleges and intermediate-level schools and help the city build necessary school facilities and English language development standards.
Additionally, the two sides plan to introduce New South Wales Vocational Education and Training courses at municipal schools.
The cooperative programs will upgrade the skills of teaching staff and produce high-quality human resources to boost local socio-economic development.
