HCM City urged to create more breakthroughs for development
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Sunday chaired a meeting on the implementation of a National Assembly resolution on piloting certain special mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City.

PM Chinh said that after more than four months of implementing the resolution, the mindset, awareness, and approach to the city's development have been innovated and enhanced.
The Prime Minister touched upon issues such as constructing Can Gio port, developing an international financial center, accelerating the HCM City-Long Thanh expressway project, promoting innovation, efficiently exploiting the Saigon River, and establishing a carbon credit trading platform.
He urged the city to step up administrative reform, decentralization, offer more incentives to encourage investment, and facilitate domestic and foreign-invested enterprises in the city.
