HCMC aims to turn AI into leading economic sector
(VOVWORLD) - Developing artificial intelligence, and turning it into a leading economic sector, will greatly contribute to boosting HCMC’s economy sustainably.

The municipal People's Committee is seeking to accept more AI research and development applications in Ho Chi Minh City, from now until 2030. Under the program, HCMC will promote the establishment of startup businesses, as well as small and medium enterprises, in the AI sector and increase investment in the field.
Enterprises will be encouraged to apply machine learning in digital transformation to increase competitiveness in domestic markets.
More solutions will also be issued to mobilize investment capital for the development of Artificial Intelligence brands in Vietnam.
