HCMC leaders pay tribute to late Singaporean PM Lee Kuan Yew
(VOVworld) – On Monday, a delegation of Ho Chi Minh City leaders, led by the municipal Party Committee’s secretary Le Thanh Hai, paid tribute to late Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew at the Singaporean Consulate General’s Office in the city.

Mr Hai wrote in the book of condolences that Mr Lee Kuan Yew was a great world leader, a legend of Asia, an outstanding leader and great visionary of Singapore, and a long-time friend of Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Hai wrote that the death of the late leader is a great loss to the Singaporean government and people and the world.
The same day, many delegations of HCM city’s departments, agencies, and Singaporean businesses and citizens who are working and living in Ho Chi Minh City came to the Consulate General’s Office to pay tribute to the late leader.
