This is part of a program called "Workers celebrate Tet with the city" launched by the municipal Labor Federation.

Under a program called "Tickets of gratitude", 35,000 poor workers and trade union members who haven’t been able to return to their hometown for Tet for many years will be presented with bus, train, or plane tickets.

The municipal Labor Federation and trade unions at all levels will visit and present gifts to 10 businesses, 10 boarding houses, and 10 worker families with outstanding achievements in COVID-19 prevention and control and 4 workers in extremely difficult circumstances.

The Labor Federation will send delegations to visit workers working in remote areas or in difficult conditions such as lack of available health care, lax pandemic prevention, or poor environmental sanitation.

The cost of support packagages for union members and workers in 2021 totaled 17.6 million USD.
