(VOVworld) - The 2015 Ao Dai Festival concluded on Sunday in Ho Chi Minh City, which attracted 42,000 visitors. La Quoc Khanh is Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism: "The festival honors Vietnam’s traditional cultural values, reflected in the Vietnamese traditional dress called the “Ao Dai”. Festival goers enjoyed it a lot and it’s possible to say the event has been a great success."

The event was part of activities to celebrate International Women’s Day and the 40th anniversary of the liberation of Vietnam’s southern region and Vietnam’s National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2015).
