After the primary in Puerto Rico and super-delegate commitments at last minutes, Clinton had one vote more than the 2.382 votes required to be the presidential nominee at the Democratic National Convention in July. With this result, Clinton will become the first woman of the US’s major political party to capture presidential nomination. Analysts said Clinton’s victory is a strong and convincing return.
