A conference in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday said the city expects to welcome about 25 million tourists if the COVID-19 pandemic stays under control. If the pandemic stays complicated, the city will welcome 18 million tourists.
Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of the municipal Tourism Department, said, "We are currently in phase 3 of the Ho Chi Minh City tourism recovery plan. We have been on the right track toward tourism recovery."
"This is a solid foundation for the next phase in 2022. We hope that HCMC will continue to receive support from sectors, agencies and businesses to recover sustainably."
