(VOVworld)-Leaders of HCM City and Lao capital of Vientiane on Wednesday chaired a trade-investment-tourism promotion conference. This is a party activity to celebrate the year of Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity and initiate a week of “HCM City Days in Vientiane”.

Within the framework of “HCM City Days in Vientiane”, HCM City’s senior delegation led by Le Thanh Hai, Secretary of HCM City’s Party Committee talked with Vientiane’s senior delegation led by Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Mayor of Vientiane Soukan Mahalath. The two sides agreed to intensify coordination, facilitate investments by enterprises from both countries, carry out the Party’s resolutions. The leaders also agreed on youth education as a means to promote hesitage and cultivate the special friendship. Hai said the political cooperative relations is the top priority in the future between the 2 cities, followed by cooperation in human resources and other socio-economic fields.
