(VOVworld) -The Vietnam-India Friendship Festival kicked off at Ho Chi Minh City’s Friendship House on Friday. Co-organized by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), the Vietnam-India Friendship Association, and the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, the sixth friendship festival of its kind encompassed concurrent celebrations in Hanoi and Da Nang.

All-India Peace and Solidarity Organization Vice President Devi Prasad Tripathi said: “I’m very happy to inform you our artists’ performance was appreciated in Hanoi and there was a positive response in Da Nang. As you know that culture is the only medium that brings both light and delight among the hearts and minds of the people. As a great old Sanskrit says, without mutual interactions, relationships don’t build. Therefore, our cooperation in the cultural field also will continue to grow everyday.”
