Last week, a closed tour took travelers from Ho Chi Minh City  to a number of resorts and tourist sites in adjacent, coastal Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

On Sunday, a one-day tour departed from Ho Chi Minh City center to Cu Chi district, whose tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the war, and Ba Den Mountain Historical and Cultural Complex in neighboring Tay Ninh province.

Nguyen Ngoc Tan, Director of the Saco Travel Company, the organizer of this domestic tourism bubble, said, “We didn't take travelers out of the way, just went straight to Ba Den Mountain Resort, ate, enjoyed some entertainment activities, took pictures, and returned to Ho Chi Minh City.”

This week, Ho Chi Minh City is sending working groups to Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, and Binh Dinh provinces in central Vietnam to promote tourism.
