Ho Chi Minh City vibrant for tourism week
(VOVWORLD) - Ho Chi Minh City launched its first tourism week named “Ho Chi Minh City – The city I love” on Friday, which is expected to spur local tourism and socio-economic development as the city tries to coexist safely with the coronavirus.

The event will feature photo exhibits introducing outstanding tourist destinations in Ho Chi Minh City, a bicycle parade, culinary demonstrations, and a street art show blending traditional Vietnamese music and contemporary styles, staged in front of the Ho Chi Minh City Post Office until the end of the year. Visitors will be offered hundreds of discounts of up to 60% when they book tours, hotel accommodation, and entertainment activities.
The Tourism Week is believed to fuel a strong rebound of the tourism industry in Ho Chi Minh city as well as Vietnam in 2022. Organizers plan to make it an annual event.
