The Prime Minister had a working session with President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum's Management Board on its performance in the first half of the year and outcomes of the periodic maintenance of the mausoleum in 2024.
Prime Minister Chinh said that for the Vietnamese people, beloved President Ho Chi Minh is a hero of national liberation, a world cultural celebrity, a genius leader, and a great teacher of the Vietnamese Revolution. In the eyes of international friends, President Ho Chi Minh is a prominent communist and close friend.
The Prime Minister requested the Management Board to promote its glorious tradition and its sense of responsibility before the Party, State and people, and constantly improve its capacity so that under all conditions it can best carry out the task of preserving President Ho Chi Minh's body.
Before the working session, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of ministries, sectors and the Mausoleum Management Board inspected the periodic maintenance of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
According to the Management Board, in the first half of this year, the mausoleum welcomed more than 1.6 million visitors, including more than 442.000 foreigners.
