Hoi An cultural exchange draws Japanese community, tourists

(VOVWORLD) -The 20th Hoi An-Japan Cultural Exchange  closed on Sunday evening in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, after three days packed with activities featuring distinctive local culture and tourism product.

The program gathered politicians, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, business people, artists, artisans, and athletes, the Japanese community living in Vietnam and a large number of locals and tourists.

Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of Hoi An City People's Committee, addressed the closing ceremony. He said “The Hoi An-Japan Cultural Exchange event left many deep impressions and received more attention from many localities, organizations and individuals from Japan and Vietnam. The event contributes to improving mutual understanding and forges the close bond between the two peoples, conveying the message of strong friendship and overcoming obstacles to look forward to the future together.”

 A "farewell to friends" art program closed the Hoi An-Japan Cultural Exchange 2024.
