(VOVworld) – Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, Phan Thanh Hai, said Thua Thien-Hue welcomed and congratulated the year’s first 20 foreign visitors to the province at Phu Bai international airport.

This year, the province hopes to welcome around 3 million visitors and earn an estimated 150 million USD, 16 to 18 percent more than last year. In 2013, despite economic difficulties, Thua Thien-Hue attracted nearly 2.6 million visitors, of whom more than 900,000 were foreigners.
