(VOVWORLD) - Hungary will ratify the NATO membership of Finland and Sweden in early 2023, said Hungarian PM Viktor Orban on Thursday at a meeting in Slovakia with his counterparts from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

Orban said the Swedes and the Finns have not lost a single minute of membership because of Hungary.
Finland and Sweden expressed their wish to join NATO in May. So far, 28 NATO members, all except Hungary and Turkey, have ratified their accession.
