Improving the quality of law building - ảnh 1

The 2014 law and ordinance building program includes 36 law projects, and a number of amendments. Many deputies agreed to include revised Health Insurance Law in discussion at the next session. There was also consideration given to the implementation process of the all-people health insurance to 2014 but the number of people having health insurance cards is still low. Some suggested revising the Law on Organizing People’s Council and People’s Committee and the Demonstration Law by 2014 as these are significant laws which assure efficiency for the State apparatus.

In the morning, the National Assembly deputies heard reports on the revised Law on Practicing Thrift and Combating Waste. The highlights in the draft law are additional measures to ensure transparency and the efficient management and use of assets, capital, natural resources, and information on wastefulness detection.

In the afternoon, appraisal reports were presented to the deputies on the revised Law on Bidding and Law on Employment. The deputies also discussed revised law projects and supplements to Article 170 of the Enterprise Law.
