Vietnam’s major media agencies have closely followed every development in the world and timely run editorials and articles opposing the hostile forces’ bias, distorting, and slandering information regarding the Party and State’s policies and guidelines, as well as Vietnam’s achievements in human rights. Participants suggested completing a unified mechanism at all levels regarding overseas broadcasts.
Do Van Hop, head of Vietnam News Agency’s Overseas Service, said: "From my experiences, I propose to establish a professional national center in charge of overseas broadcast in different languages to serve the mass media demands both in and outside Vietnam. The center must produce appropriate news on almost every country, both in terms of quantity and quality, with special columns dedicated to the national maritime sovereignty, religions, and human rights."
