(VOVworld) – On Wednesday, a delegation of the National Electoral Council led by Pham Minh Chinh, head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Organization, inspected preparations for the elections of deputies to the 14^th NA and People’s Councils at all levels in Vinh Phuc province.

Chinh asked the provincial leaders to ensure that the elections will be a success and that communications are accurate, optimistic, and timely.

Tran Quoc Vuong, Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Inspection, had a working session Wednesday with the Thanh Hoa provincial authorities on election preparations.

Vuong called on Thanh Hoa to carefully prepare ballot-boxes, lists of candidates, and security and medical arrangements. Meanwhile Thanh Hoa’s communication and education department should step up communications to inform locals of their voting rights and responsibilities. The inspection team called for increased checks, supervision, and communications in mountain areas and areas with ethnic and Catholic people and for arrangements to be made to allow fishermen fishing offshore to participate in the elections.
