(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has praised the inspection sector’s achievements in boosting Vietnam’s socio-economic development last year.

Addressing a meeting on Thursday to review the sector’s activities in 2014 and set out missions for 2015, Phuc asked inspectors nationwide to strengthen anti-corruption activities in ministries, agencies, and provinces, timely detect, and outline appropriate solutions to address the violations.

Phuc required the Government Inspectorate to soon submit to the government for approval a strategy for the sector’s development until 2020 with a vision till 2030. The sector is also urged to improve its mechanism to facilitate favorable conditions for the fight against corruption and settle complaints and denunciations.
