UN Chief Ban Ki-moon

(VOVworld) – UN Chief Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday welcomed the formation of a Palestinian unity government. Mr Ban said he hopes the international community will not stop helping Palestine develop its economy and encouraging Israel-Palestine peace talks. The same day, the EU welcomed a new Palestinian government, calling it a vital step in the Palestinian reconciliation and peace process. Many countries including the US, have said they are ready to cooperate with the new Palestinian unity government.
