French Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Agnes von der Muhll said France will maintain its commitments under the deal and is waiting for a report from the International Atomic Energy Agency on Iran’s actions. She urged Iran to fully adhere to its commitments and cooperate fully with the IAEA, both under the JCPOA and its other nuclear obligations.

Russian President Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Russia is concerned by Iran’s announcement and breaking the JCPOA will bring no good. Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said the fourth stage of Iran’s reduction of commitments to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) may be inevitable if Tehran’s economic interests are not taken into account.

Iran will begin enriching uranium up to five percent, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi said Tuesday.
