Hanoi’s youths introduced foreign friends to the cultural traditions, potentials, and socio-economic achievements of Vietnam and its capital Hanoi, a city for peace.

The festival also featured culture, art, and sports to improve young people’s mental well-being and connect them with international friends and organizations.

Nguyen Minh Hieu, a student from Hanoi University, said: "Every country has their own culture and images. I want to promote the images of Hanoi University and tell everyone that Vietnamese students can adapt to an international environment, just as friends from around the world can come to Vietnam and call it their second home."

Houda, a student from Morocco, said: "I am very happy and surprised by Vietnamese youths’ enthusiasm in  promoting their culture. You have inspired us to learn more about your culture."

The International Youth Festival 2024 also included an art exchange program, a marathon, and a Ao Dai dance competition.
