Introducing products, services of Mekong Delta into global value chain
(VOVWORLD) - The 5th Mekong Connect Forum on introducing Mekong Delta products and services into the global value chain was held Tuesday in Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap province, attended by 700 businessmen, farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and state management agencies from An Giang , Ben Tre, Can Tho City and Dong Thap.

This year's Forum reviewed opportunities and challenges created by the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), Mekong Delta development, and technological innovations to achieve sustainable agriculture.
Vu Kim Hanh, Chairwoman of the Business Association of High Quality Vietnamese Products, said: “An Giang chose industrialization of agribusiness, while Ben Tre is developing local brands associated with technology and innovation. Can Tho is developing new resources in the Mekong Delta, and Dong Thap chose digital transformation and value chains in agriculture. Each province has its own discussion, making four seminars in one forum.”
