(VOVworld)- Iranian President Hassan Rowhani said in front of religious dignitaries Tuesday that Tehran will not give up any of its nuclear rights. President Rowhani did not clarify efforts to please the West on Iran’s nuclear program but stressed that pressures will not sway Iran from its right. He also said that “no results can be achieved through threats and pressures”. Rowhani’s comments were issued prior to the meeting between Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif and Catherine Ashton, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy for the European Union by the end of this month. The meeting is another effort to restart rounds of talks on Tehran’s controversial nuclear issue. Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) asks for Iran’s cooperation to eliminate doubts on nuclear weapon. Besides, a fresh round of talks between Iran and IAEA is scheduled to take place in Vienna, Austria on September 27. This is the first negotiation since President Rowhani took office.
