(VOVworld)- Iran and P5+1 including the US, the UK, France, China, and Germany have concluded the third round of talks in Vienna toward drafting a long-term agreement on Iran’s nuclear program.
Speaking at a press conference after the two-day meeting, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said participants were in up to 60% agreement on the shape of a nuclear deal.
Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, said the outcomes of this round are practical and comprehensive. Meanwhile, a representative of the US delegation also said that parties involved reached the halfway mark toward a final agreement. The next round is scheduled for May 13 to bridge the gaps between the two sides on core issues and discussing in details the content of a comprehensive agreement on Iranian nuclear issue.
