Irish court begins trial of suspect linked to deaths of Vietnamese immigrants
(VOVWORLD) - Ronan Hughes in Northern Ireland testified Tuesday before Dublin's High Court in connection with the deaths of 39 Vietnamese nationals whose bodies were discovered in a lorry trailer last October in Essex, England.

Hughes will likely be extradited on multiple manslaughter charges.
On April 8, Maurice Robinson, a truck driver from Northern Ireland, pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey to manslaughter charges related to the same incident.
