(VOVworld) - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will start visiting every leading industrial countries (G7) to coordinate views with and seek cooperation ahead of the G7 summit in May.

It has been eight years since Japan last hosted the summit, and the agenda for this year's meeting will likely focus on maritime security, anti-terror measures, and the refugee crisis. The summit is considered an opportunity for Abe to announce Japan’s diplomacy success ahead of the House of Councilors’ election this July.
