(VOVworld) – The President of the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association in Sakai, Japan, has pledged to provide Binh Dinh province with 20 more sets of Japanese advanced fishing devices to help local fishermen catch ocean tuna meeting the Japanese market’s requirements.

President Hitoshi Kato made the pledge at a working session with provincial officials in Quy Nhon on Thursday.
Chairman of the Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung said local authorities will facilitate operations of Sakai businesses and organizations.

The same day, a signing ceremony was held in Hanoi for the third phase of a non-refundable project worth more than 337,000 USD to improve the health of mothers and children in Dien Bien.
