Japanese coast guard ship visits Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - The Japanese Coast Guard Training Vessel KOJIMA with 87 officers and crew members on board docked at the Da Nang International Port on Thursday to start a four-day visit to Vietnam.

The visit is one of the specific activities agreed upon by leaders of the two nations’ Parties, States and defence ministries, aiming to further deepen the bilateral defensive partnership.
During their stay in Da Nang city, the Japanese delegation will pay a courtesy visit to authorities of the municipal People’s Committee, the High Command of Military Zone 5, the Marine Police Zone 2, and the navigation search and rescue centre. A sporting event will also be held to increase mutual understanding between Vietnamese and Japanese soldiers and sailors.
