(VOVWORLD) - Khanh Hoa province on Tuesday launched four major projects to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

The groundbreaking ceremony was connected live with the Vietnam Exposition Center in Hanoi and four local sites across the province.
The projects, with a combined investment of more than 767 million USD, include the Nha Trang Urban Area Complex; the Training and Research Facility of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in Nha Trang; the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Infrastructure Development and Business Project; and social housing at the Thanh Hai resettlement area.
According to the provincial People’s Committee, the projects are expected to create momentum for double-digit growth during 2025-2030 and mark a major step in implementing Politburo Resolution 09-NQ/TW on Khanh Hoa’s development until 2030, with a vision to 2045, aiming to make the province a centrally-run city.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Hoa Nam said the groundbreaking underscores Khanh Hoa’s determination to develop modern urban areas, expand industry, enhance human resources, and ensure social welfare, laying a solid foundation for a new stage of growth.
It not only marks the beginning of the strategic projects but also affirms the commitment of the provincial Party Committee, authorities, people, and businesses to building a green, smart, modern, and distinctive Khanh Hoa, he said.
“I call on investors to maximize their capacity, mobilize resources, accelerate construction progress, and ensure quality, aesthetics, and safety so the projects can be put into operation soon and generate strong spillover effects,” Mr. Nam noted.
