Khanh Hoa province steps up measures to cope with Covid-19

(VOVWORLD) - Khanh Hoa province’s tourism industry has taken measures to halt the spread of the Covid-19, including sterilizing accommodations, providing hand sanitizer, distributing face masks, and checking visitors’ body temperature and itineraries.

As of late Sunday, 84 people had been quarantined in Khanh Hoa, one of whom tested positive for the disease but was cured and discharged from hospital.  

Many hotels have set room temperatures to 26 degrees Celsius or more and have severed only well-cooked food.

“We are working with travel agents, and the aviation and medical sectors to outline measures to slow the epidemic, disinfect the environment, and ensure the safety of the visitors,” said Tran Viet Trung, Director of the provincial Tourism Department.
