Khanh Hoa starts rebuilding houses destroyed by recent natural disasters
(VOVWORLD) - Khanh Hoa province on Thursday began construction of new homes for people whose houses were completely destroyed by natural disasters in Dien Dien commune.

At a groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Phong launched the "Quang Trung Campaign", urging quick replacement or repair of damaged houses before Tet, Vietnam’s Lunar New Year.
Recent floods killed 22 people, injured 20 others, and destroyed or damaged nearly 400 houses in Khanh Hoa.
The campaign, named after King Quang Trung, who defeated the Qing invaders in a lightning campaign in 1789, is promoting a spirit of solidarity and love, motivating people to overcome difficulties, and stabilizing victims’ lives.
