Pham Minh Nhut, Chairman of the Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, welcomed Russian tourists to Vietnam’s coastal resort city, saying, “Khanh Hoa province, after merging with Ninh Thuan, has many on offer: islands, Cham culture, and renewable energy potential, to attract Russian tourists.”
“From now until the end of this year, travel agents have increased the number of flights transporting Russian tourists to Khanh Hoa,” Nhut added.
Russia is a key market for Khanh Hoa tourism. More than 30 flights a week bring Russian package tour travelers to Khanh Hoa. Starting this month, Nordwind Airlines will operate 18 to 22 flights per month, carrying 6,800 passengers from eight Russian cities, including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Vladivostok, to Cam Ranh.
