A week earlier, Russian airline Azur Air resumed charter flights to Khanh Hoa from 11 Russian cities including Moscow and Vladivostok. Azur Air, in partnership with Anex Vietnam Trading and Tourism Company Limited, will operate 12 flights in March, then 50-55 flights per month from April to June, and 90-100 flights per month from July.

Nguyen Thi Duyen, a representative of Anex Vietnam, said: "Russian visitors tend to stay longer, primarily for beachside relaxation, with an average stay of at least five nights. Anex Vietnam has established hotline support and customer care services, and coordinated with local authorities to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit."

Khanh Hoa province has set a 10.5% economic growth target for this year, with tourism playing a key role. To this end, the province aims to diversify its tourism market, enhance international promotional activities, improve service quality and infrastructure, and  invest in human resource training

In the near future, Khanh Hoa will continue to add international air routes targeting strategic tourism markets. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, said the upcoming 11th Khanh Hoa Sea Festival is a prime opportunity to showcase local tourism potential.

Thieu said:  "Khanh Hoa is collaborating with key tourism markets and localities that have signed cooperation agreements to promote the provinces events. Were focusing on developing new tourism products and drawing businesses to our programs to attract more international visitors."

Khanh Hoa is encouraging green tourism initiatives, prioritizing environmental conservation and sustainable development, leveraging digital transformation in tourism management and marketing, and integrating tourism growth with the development of Vietnam’s cultural industry.
