Kiev: Tehran pledges to reveal ‘detailed’ data on downed Ukrainian plane probe
(VOVWORLD) - Ukraine said on Wednesday that Iran promised to reveal “detailed” information on the probe into a Kiev-bound passenger plane mistakenly shot down in January, after a fresh round of talks in Tehran.

Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 crashed shortly after taking off from the Iranian capital’s main airport on January 8. Iran admitted days later that its forces accidentally fired two missiles to shoot down the plane, killing all 176 people on board.
The commitment says that within a week Kiev “will receive detailed information on the investigation”. The information will include “documentary evidence of the detention of six people who are suspected of shooting down the plane.” Iran has also promised to send a key piece of evidence to Ukraine by the end of this month.
