(VOVworld) – South Korean President Park Geun-hye warned Tuesday that North Korea might self-destruct by confronting the entire international community unless it embraces change and ends its provocations.

During a Cabinet meeting, Park said North Korea has announced plans to carry out more nuclear warhead and ballistic missile tests despite strong sanctions by the international community and South Korea. The South Korean Foreign Ministry warned that it will respond to any nuclear threat by the North.

Yonhap News Agency said China has urged North Korea to abide by resolutions of the UN Security Council.
