Kremlin: Putin and Trump may meet before G20 Summit
(VOVWORLD) - Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the Russian President, said on Monday that a full-format meeting between Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump might take place a day before the G20 Summit in Osaka later this month.

The Americans have still not formulated any initiatives or proposals for the meeting, he added.
Putin and Trump were expected to meet on the sidelines of the previous G20 summit in Argentina last December, but the US president cancelled one day before the agreed date. The Russians responded by saying they are ready for dialogue with the US, but on condition that any contact be initiated by the US.
